Description
1st Advantage Dental is seeking a skilled Endodontist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide advanced endodontic care, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and related surgical procedures, while ensuring exceptional patient experiences. You will collaborate closely with general dentists and specialists to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care. Our culture emphasizes inclusivity, creativity, and forward-thinking, offering opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and participation in innovative clinical initiatives within a supportive, team-oriented environment.Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of the dental pulp and periapical tissues.
Perform root canal therapy, retreatment, apicoectomy, and other endodontic surgical procedures.
Interpret digital radiographs and cone beam CT scans to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with general dentists and other dental specialists.
Administer local anesthesia and manage patient pain and anxiety before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain meticulous clinical records, documentation, and charting in electronic health record systems.
Educate patients about diagnosis, treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-operative care instructions.
Adhere to strict infection control, sterilization, and occupational safety protocols.
Stay current with advances in endodontic techniques, materials, and technologies through continuing education.
Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and patient-centered clinical environment.
Endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
Root canal therapy and retreatment
Endodontic microsurgery (e.g., apicoectomy)
Use of dental operating microscope
Digital radiography and cone beam CT interpretation
Local anesthesia administration
Infection control and sterilization practices
Electronic dental records and charting
Pain management and post-operative care
Patient communication and education
Occlusion and restorative considerations in endodontics
Management of dental trauma
Management of medically complex patients in a dental setting
